These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and GymLog ("GymLog", "we", "us") governing your use of the GymLog apps and services. This is also the End User License Agreement (EULA) for the app. By creating an account or using GymLog, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use GymLog.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use GymLog for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or distribute the app except as permitted by law. This license is also governed by the applicable app-store terms (Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement and Google Play's terms), which supplement these Terms.
You agree not to:
GymLog lets you post content — including workout posts, comments, reactions, gym reviews, custom names, and photos ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute it solely to operate and provide the service (for example, showing your posts to your friends).
To keep the community safe, we provide tools to flag/report objectionable content and to block abusive users. We commit to:
You are solely responsible for your User Content and the consequences of posting it. We may remove any content and suspend or terminate any account at our discretion for a violation of these Terms.
GymLog is a logging and information tool, not a medical device or a source of medical advice. AI Coach suggestions are generated automatically and may be incomplete or wrong. Always use good judgment, and consult a qualified professional before starting or changing any exercise program. You use GymLog and follow any workout or suggestion at your own risk.
GymLog is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any data (including imported or backed-up data) will always be available or accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GymLog and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of GymLog. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 50. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, so some may not apply to you.
You can stop using GymLog and delete your account at any time (see the account-deletion page). We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including content licenses granted to us for already-shared content, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide an in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where mandatory local consumer-protection laws apply to you.
